Mobility of students from Poland
November 7-16, 2023
We will present the presentation we prepared for the last evening with students from Spain. For a farewell dinner. We started our adventure on March 5. When we flew there, we didn't know each other. For many of us it was also the first flight, so we were even more stressed. When we landed in sunny Malaga after 3 hours, we already knew it would be an unforgettable time. Malaga surprised us with beautiful views. The guide told very fascinating stories and interesting facts about Spain that we had no idea about. After 2 days spent in Malaga, we became very close to each other and felt like family. We relieved the stress of getting to know our host families with conversations and jokes. The families who hosted us were very polite and nice and after just a few days we felt at home with them. We had a great time getting to know the city, the school and made new friends. On the first day in the Base, the Spaniards showed us around their school, we gave them presentations about our country and everyone said a few words about themselves. Then we went sightseeing around the city. We saw many famous places, including the archaeological museum in Baza. We could also try the popular snacks there, i.e. churros with chocolate. After a day at school, we had a lot of time to integrate with the Spanish. They showed us where they like to spend their free time. We spent the next day at school again, learning about their education system and school rules. We spent the sixth day on a trip. We visited the town of Orce and its archaeological museum. Everyone spent the weekend with their host families, going to various interesting and beautiful places. We started the new week with a wonderful trip to the rock city of Guadix. This is a place where people's houses are located inside the rock. On the way, we stopped at Negratin Lake, a dam reservoir whose water color was breathtaking. We liked this place very much and didn't want to leave. While in Spain, we also learned various Spanish words and phrases. The Spaniards were equally eager to learn Polish words and tongue twisters. On our last day we visited Granada. We visited its beautiful streets. However, our main destination was the famous Alhambra, a fortified palace and garden complex. We were delighted with its size and beautiful gardens inside. The time of saying goodbye was difficult for us. We couldn't wait to see each other again in Poland.
Our joy was great when we could see each other again, this time in Poland. On the first day, Spanish friends had the opportunity to get to know our city better through the walking tours we organized. The next day we planned to visit our capital. Where we got by train, because as it turned out, the train was something unusual for the Spaniards and they really liked the idea of traveling by train. We saw the royal castle and the palace of culture, from the top of which we could admire the panorama of Warsaw. While walking the streets of Warsaw, we taught them various Polish words. They especially like the word (ladybug). The next day we went to Lublin. We tried the famous Lublin onion soup there. The next point of our trip was visiting the Majdanek concentration camp. After returning, a bonfire was organized where we had a great time having fun, playing games and dancing the dances we learned in Spain. On the last day, the Spaniards gave us presentations about their city. A volleyball match was played. The last day, i.e. the farewell dinner, was certainly a great time for each of us. But all good things come to an end. At the farewell dinner we made these presentations. We were all very moved. We hope that soon we will be able to meet again and create new unforgettable memories.

"Po przybyciu do Porto przywitał nas autobus od burmistrza Viana de Castello. W szkole spotkaliśmy się z portugalskimi przyjaciółmi, za którymi tęskniliśmy już po spotkaniu w Polsce. Zostaliśmy oprowadzeni po szkole i przedstawieni naszym kolegom z klasy. A wieczorem spędziliśmy czas na poznawaniu ich rodzin.
Następnego dnia zorganizowano dla nas osobiste spotkanie z prezydentem miasta, podczas którego dowiedzieliśmy się wielu ciekawych rzeczy na temat tradycji i znaczenia herbu. Po spotkaniu odwiedziliśmy Statek szpitalne Gil Eannes. Na kolację zostaliśmy zaproszeni do gry w kręgle. Trzeciego dnia poszliśmy surfować, pogoda była okropna, ale nie przeszkodziło nam to w dobrej zabawie.
Odwiedziliśmy posiadłość, w której przebywał król, tam zobaczyliśmy cudowną i niesamowitą winnicę, historię tego miejsca i jej właścicieli. W środę odwiedziliśmy kościół Santuário de Santa Luzia, położony na górze o tej samej nazwie. Można go także zobaczyć z dowolnego miejsca B Viana de Castelo. Wokół kościoła rozpościera się niezwykły widok na Ocean Atlantycki i góry Serra da Estrela.To właśnie tam zrobiliśmy wspólne zdjęcie, które później podarowali nam nasi koledzy z Portugalii na pamiątkę wyjazdu
13.11.23 o godzinie 04:30 wyruszyliśmy do miasta Lisboa, stolicy Portugalii. Spędziliśmy tam 3 dni, które spędziliśmy na zwiedzaniu miasta. To miasto o bogatej historii, ciekawych miejscach, silnych tradycjach i kulturze.
Po powrocie do Viana do Castelo, ostatniego dnia wycieczki udaliśmy się do miasta Rorto. Lało bez przerwy, ale to nie przeszkodziło przewodnikowi w pokazaniu miasta w całej okazałości. Koledzy z Portugalii zorganizowali dla nas imprezę pożegnalną, która odbyła się w szkole. Tradycyjne tańce portugalskie okazały się sporym wyzwaniem, kiedy zostaliśmy zaproszeni do tańca, a ich szkolny zespół muzyczny fachowo wykonał wiele znanych współczesnych piosenek.
Zabawnie i interesująco było poznać tradycje naszych nowych przyjaciół i na chwilę stać się częścią ich rutyny. Szkoda, że ta mała przygoda szybko się skończyła. Wszyscy żegnaliśmy się ze łzami w oczach, bo długo nie będziemy mogli się widzieć. Mimo to cieszymy się, że udało nam się pojechać na taki wyjazd i poznać nowych kolegów."
