Preparatory visit of teachers from the School Complex in Mrozy
to Athens (Greece) September 18 - 21, 2023

On September 18-21, three teachers from the School Complex in Mrozy went to Greece. During the meeting, the details of the students' group visit were agreed. Teachers met with their colleagues from Athens. Together, they discussed ways and forms of implementing language classes on the history of UNESCO's establishment of the International Mother Language Day, exercises showing the value of linguistic diversity and preserving the mother tongue of each nation in a common Europe. Details of the stay in Athens were planned, allowing for the implementation of the curriculum and learning about the cultural and linguistic heritage of Greece. Thanks to the joint arrangements of teachers from Greece and Poland, students will improve digital skills, methods of communication and cooperation in an international group, develop critical thinking, creativity, tolerance and kindness. By staying at their peers' homes, they will learn about the national culture, language and customs of European countries. The meeting in Athens was also an opportunity to establish close and cordial friendships between teachers and the project's partner schools.
