Preparatory trip for teachers from Poland to Spain

On February 5-9, 2023, a preparatory trip for teachers from Poland to Spain took place. The trip was attended by 3 teachers from the School Complex. Adam Mickiewicz in Mrozy: director Marianna Bogusz, Katarzyna Branicka-Karczmarczyk and Urszula Frącz. Teachers checked the types of transport connections between the airport and the school and detailed the travel plan for students (connections, times, distances and travel times, types of transport). They found out about the location of the school and its infrastructure. what is the infrastructure, sports and recreation facilities, what is the system of organization of classes, how is foreign language learning carried out. They examined the possible threats related to the location, traffic threats (increased traffic in the area), natural and social threats - all this in the context of the students' planned trip to Spain. They checked what are the historical attractions in the area (monuments, museums), nature (parks, botanical gardens, zoological gardens), biological curiosities - what is worth visiting in the area, what are the costs, distances. They learned about natural hazards: what animals and plants can be dangerous (wasp spiders, insects, snakes, scorpions, etc.), whether they pose a real threat and in what situations/seasons. What weather hazards can occur. They met with the headmaster and teachers, talked about their attitude towards the project, proposals and plans, they would like to show our students and what their expectations, expectations and fears are, what they would like to offer during the implementation of the project. They researched whether teachers from the partner school would like to cooperate with our school on a permanent basis, organizing joint stationary projects, classes with connection via telebridges. The teachers also obtained information on where there are food places in the area, what kind of places they are, what are the prices of food, where are the supply points, grocery stores, pharmacies, where are health centers, hospitals and medical assistance, including dental, in the vicinity, in case if such help was needed later by our students. The trip was very good, and the teachers from Spain welcomed the teachers from Poland very warmly and kindly and devoted all their free time. The visit was very successful and very good.
